A North Carolina corner cabinet, from Winston-Salem, NC. The Reynolds Family and descended through the family to current owner's grandmother, Nancy O'Hanlon (nee Reynolds). A mix of cherry & Walnut with holly inlays, the entire one piece cabinet has yellow pine secondary wood. Hinges appear to be original. The triple line inlays repeat at the base & vertically at the waist, continuing behind the molding. Door inlays are two superimposed motifs creating a floral pinwheel. The crown molding is the glory of the upper case with seven moldings, each separately applied. Old notes inside tell how to polish the hinges & that one pull & 5 panes of glass are the only replacements. 50"w., 28"d., 89.25"h.
