Circa 1825 Wine Serving or Drinking Table, England. A rare form, the center has a leaf that lifts out and the ends have extra leaves to lift up for use when serving creating a horse shoe form, while it makes a large serving console table when not in use for serving drinks. Fine mahogany timbers; raised on turned, reeded legs of robust design ending in original gilt brass cups & casters. Almost certainly by Gillows. One loper for leaves replaced.
