Beautiful burl wood extravagantly inlaid with satinwood & multiple box or holly inlays all in motion around the central paterae on top & front cartouche & corner spandrels. Once with interior tray. Old blue paper lining in bottom. Lid part of lock lacking. No key. 10 7/8" w., 7 11/16" d., 5 1/8" h.
